Dua Umme Dawood (1/24)

صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ…

صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ

ذُو ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ

ٱلَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ

وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

ٱلْبَصِيرُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ انَّهُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

وَٱلْمَلائِكَةُ وَاوْلُو ٱلْعِلْمِ

قَائِماً بِٱلْقِسْطِ

Transliteration

sadaqa allahu al'azimu

alladhi la ilaha illa huwa

alhayyu alqayyumu

dhuljalali wal-ikrami

alrrahmanu alrrahimu

alhalimu alkarimu

alladhi laysa kamithlihi shay'un

wa huwa alssami'u al'alimu

albasiru alkhabiru

shahida allahu annahu la ilaha illa huwa

walmala'ikatu wa ulu al'ilmi

qa'iman bilqisti

Translation

True are the words of Allah, the All-great.

There is no god save Him,

the Ever-living, the Eternal,

The Lord of Majesty and Honor,

the All-beneficent, the All-merciful,

the Forbearing, the All-generous.

There is nothing like Him,

and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing,

the All-seeing, the All-aware.

Allah bears witness that there is no god but He,

and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge,

maintaining His creation with justice.

Dua Umme Dawood (2/24)

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ…

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

وَبَلَّغَتْ رُسُلُهُ ٱلْكِرَامُ

وَانَا عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاهِدِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْمَجْدُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْعِزُّ

وَلَكَ ٱلْفَخْرُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْقَهْرُ

ولَكَ ٱلنِّعْمَةُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْعَظَمَةُ

وَلَكَ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْمَهَابَةُ

Transliteration

la ilaha illa huwa al'azizu alhakimu

wa ballaghat rusuluhu alkiramu

wa ana 'ala dhalika min alshshahidina

allahumma laka alhamdu

wa laka almajdu

wa laka al'izzu

wa laka alfakhru

wa laka alqahru

wlaka alnni'matu

wa laka al'azamatu

wa laka alrrahmatu

wa laka almahabatu

Translation

There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.

His noble Messengers have conveyed the mission

and I am of those who bear witness to that.

O Allah, to You belongs praise,

to You belongs glory,

to You belongs might,

to You belongs pride,

to You belongs supreme power,

to You belong bounties,

to You belongs greatness,

to You belongs mercy,

to You belongs reverence,

وَلَكَ ٱلسُّلْطَانُ وَلَكَ ٱلْبَهَاءُ وَلَكَ ٱلاِمْتِنَانُ…

وَلَكَ ٱلسُّلْطَانُ

وَلَكَ ٱلْبَهَاءُ

وَلَكَ ٱلاِمْتِنَانُ

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّسْبِيحُ

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّقْدِيسُ

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّهْلِيلُ

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّكْبِيرُ

وَلَكَ مَا يُرَىٰ

وَلَكَ مَا لاَ يُرَىٰ

وَلَكَ مَا فَوْقَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ٱلْعُلَىٰ

وَلَكَ مَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ

وَلَكَ ٱلارَضُونَ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ

Transliteration

wa laka alssultanu

wa laka albaha'u

wa laka al-imtinanu

wa laka alttasbihu

wa laka alttaqdisu

wa laka alttahlilu

wa laka alttakbiru

wa laka ma yura

wa laka ma la yura

wa laka ma fawqa alssamawati al'ula

wa laka ma tahta alththara

wa laka al-araduna alssufla

Translation

to You belongs sovereignty,

to You belongs beauty,

to You belongs benevolence,

to You belongs glorification,

to You belongs holiness,

to You belongs the confession of Your being the One and Only God,

to You belongs the confession of Your being the most Great Lord,

to You belongs that which is seen,

to You belongs that which is not seen,

to You belongs that which is far above the high heavens,

to You belongs that which is deep down under the abyss,

to You belong the worlds below the heavens,

Dua Umme Dawood (4/24)

وَلَكَ ٱلآخِرَةُ وَٱلاولَىٰ وَلَكَ مَا تَرْضَىٰ…

وَلَكَ ٱلآخِرَةُ وَٱلاولَىٰ

وَلَكَ مَا تَرْضَىٰ بِهِ مِنَ ٱلثَّنَاءِ وَٱلْحَمْدِ

وَٱلشُّكْرِ وَٱلنَّعْمَاءِ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ جَبْرَئِيلَ

امِينِكَ عَلَىٰ وَحْيِكَ

وَٱلْقَوِيِّ عَلَىٰ امْرِكَ

وَٱلْمُطَاعِ فِي سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَمَحَالِّ كَرَامَاتِكَ

ٱلْمُتَحَمِّلِ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ

ٱلنَّاصِرِ لانْبِيَائِكَ

ٱلْمُدَمِّرِ لاعْدَائِكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مِيكَائِيلَ

مَلَكِ رَحْمَتِكَ

Transliteration

wa laka al-akhiratu wal-ula

wa laka ma tarda bihi min alththana'i walhamdi

walshshukri walnni'ma'i

allahumma salli 'ala jabra'ila

aminika 'ala wahyika

walqawiyyi 'ala amrika

walmuta'i fi samawatika wa mahalli karamatika

almutahammili likalimatika

alnnasiri li-anbiya'ika

almudammiri li-a'da'ika

allahumma salli 'ala mika'ila

malaki rahmatika

Translation

to You belong the end and the beginning,

and to You is all thanks, all praise,

all gratitude, and all bliss as much as it pleases You.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Gabriel,

the trustee on Your revelations,

the firm in conveying Your orders,

the obeyed in Your heavens and the places where Your honoring lies,

the bearer of Your Words,

the supporter of Your Prophets,

and the terminator of Your enemies.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Michael,

the angel of Your mercy,

وَٱلْمَخْلُوقِ لِرَافَتِكَ وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ ٱلْمُعِينِ لاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ…

وَٱلْمَخْلُوقِ لِرَافَتِكَ

وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ ٱلْمُعِينِ لاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ إِسْرَافِيلَ

حَامِلِ عَرْشِكَ

وَصَاحِبِ ٱلصُّوْرِ

ٱلْمُنْتَظِرِ لامْرِكَ

ٱلْوَجِلِ ٱلْمُشْفِقِ مِنْ خِيفَتِكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ حَمَلَةِ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

وَعَلَىٰ ٱلسَّفَرَةِ ٱلْكِرَامِ

ٱلْبَرَرَةِ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ

وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَتِكَ ٱلْكِرَامِ ٱلْكَاتِبِينَ

وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَةِ ٱلْجِنَانِ

Transliteration

walmakhluqi lira'fatika

walmustaghfiri almu'ini li-ahli ta'atika

allahumma salli 'ala israfila

hamili 'arshika

wa sahibi alssuri

almuntaziri li-amrika

alwajili almushfiqi min khifatika

allahumma salli 'ala hamalati al'arshi alttahirina

wa 'ala alssafarati alkirami

albararati alttayyibina

wa 'ala mala'ikatika alkirami alkatibina

wa 'ala mala'ikati aljinani

Translation

the one created for (showing) Your kindness,

and the one seeking forgiveness and assisting the people of obedience to You.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Seraph,

the bearer of Your Throne,

the one in charge of the Trumpet (that declares the Resurrection Day),

the one waiting for Your order,

and the one apprehensive and fearful of You.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the pure angels who bear Your Throne,

upon the scribes; the noble,

the virtuous, and the immaculate,

upon Your angels; the virtuous recorders (of the deeds),

upon the angels of the gardens of Paradise,

Dua Umme Dawood (6/24)

وَخَزَنَةِ ٱلنِّيرَانِ وَمَلَكِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلاعْوَانِ يَا…

وَخَزَنَةِ ٱلنِّيرَانِ

وَمَلَكِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلاعْوَانِ

يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ابِينَا آدَمَ

بَدِيعِ فِطْرَتِكَ

ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمْتَهُ بِسُجُودِ مَلائِكَتِكَ

وَابَحْتَهُ جَنَّتَكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ امِّنَا حَوَّاءَ

ٱلْمُطَهَّرَةِ مِنَ ٱلرِّجْسِ

ٱلْمُصَفَّاةِ مِنَ ٱلدَّنَسِ

ٱلْمُفَضَّلَةِ مِنَ ٱلإِنْسِ

ٱلْمُتَرَدِّدَةِ بَيْنَ مَحَالِّ ٱلْقُدْسِ

Transliteration

wa khazanati alnnirani

wa malaki almawti wal-a'wani

ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

allahumma salli 'ala abina adama

badi'i fitratika

alladhi karramtahu bisujudi mala'ikatika

wa abahtahu janntaka

allahumma salli 'ala ummina hawwa'a

almutahharati min alrrijsi

almusaffati min alddanasi

almufaddalati min al-insi

almutaraddidati bayna mahalli alqudsi

Translation

upon the keepers of Hellfire,

and upon the Angel of Death and his assistants.

O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to our father Adam:

the foremost of Your creation

whom You honored by making Your angels prostrate themselves before him,

and whom You allowed to dwell in Your Paradise.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to our mother Eve:

the purified from filth,

the cleaned from dirt,

the favorite from among the humankind,

and the allowed to visit the places of sanctity.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ هَابِيلَ وَشَيْثٍ وَإِدْرِيسَ…

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ هَابِيلَ وَشَيْثٍ

وَإِدْرِيسَ وَنُوحٍ

وَهُودٍ وَصَالِحٍ

وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ

وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ

وَيُوسُفَ وَٱلاسْبَاطِ

وَلُوطٍ وَشُعَيْبٍ

وَايُّوْبَ وَمُوسَىٰ

وَهَارُونَ وَيُوشَعَ

وَمِيشَا وَٱلْخِضْرِ

وَذِي ٱلْقَرْنَيْنِ وَيُونُسَ

وَإِلْيَاسَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ

Transliteration

allahumma salli 'ala habila wa shaythin

wa idrisa wa nuhin

wa hudin wa salihin

wa ibrahima wa isma'ila

wa ishaqa wa ya'quba

wa yusufa wal-asbati

wa lutin wa shu'aybin

wa ayyuba wa musa

wa haruna wa yusha'a

wa misha walkhidri

wa dhi alqarnayni wa yunusa

wa ilyasa walyasa'a

Translation

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Abel, Shayth,

Idris, Noah,

Hud, Salih,

Abraham, Ishmael,

Isaac, Jacob,

Joseph, the Tribes,

Lot, Shu'ayb,

Job, Moses,

Aaron, Joshua,

Micah, al-Khidr,

Dhu’l-Qarnayn (the two-horned), Jonah,

Elias, Elisa,

وَذِي ٱلْكِفْلِ وَطَالُوتَ وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَزَكَرِيَّا…

وَذِي ٱلْكِفْلِ وَطَالُوتَ

وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ

وَزَكَرِيَّا وَشَعْيَا

وَيَحْيَىٰ وَتُورَخَ

وَمَتَّىٰ وَإِرْمِيَا

وَحَيْقُوقَ وَدَانِيَالَ

وَعُزَيْرٍ وَعِيسَىٰ

وَشَمْعُونَ وَجِرْجِيسَ

وَٱلْحَوَارِيِّينَ وَٱلاتْبَاعِ

وَخَالِدٍ وَحَنْظَلَةَ وَلُقْمَانَ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

Transliteration

wa dhi alkifli wa taluta

wa dawuda wa sulaymana

wa zakariyya wa sha'ya

wa yahya wa turakha

wa matta wa irmiya

wa hayquqa wa danyala

wa 'uzayrin wa 'isa

wa sham'una wa jirjisa

walhawariyyina wal-atba'i

wa khalidin wa hanzalata wa luqmana

allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

warham Muhammadan wa ala Muhammadin

Translation

Dhu’l-Kifl, Saul,

David, Solomon,

Zachariah, Shayah,

John, Turakh,

Matthias, Jeremiah,

Habakkuk, Daniel,

Ezra, Jesus,

Simon, Georges,

the Apostles, the Followers,

Khalid, Hanzalah, and Luqman.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

have mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

Dua Umme Dawood (9/24)

وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا…

وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلاوْصِيَاءِ وَٱلسُّعَدَاءِ

وَٱلشُّهَدَاءِ وَائِمَّةِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلابْدَالِ وَٱلاوْتَادِ

وَٱلسُّيَّاحِ وَٱلْعُبَّادِ

وَٱلْمُخْلِصِينَ وَٱلزُّهَّادِ

وَاهْلِ ٱلْجِدِّ وَٱلاِجْتِهَادِ

وَٱخْصُصْ مُحَمَّداً وَاهْلَ بَيْتِهِ بِافْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ

وَاجْزَلِ كَرَامَاتِكَ

وَبَلِّغْ رُوحَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً وَسَلاماً

Transliteration

wa barik 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

kama sallayta wa rahimta wa barakta 'ala ibrahima wa ali ibrahima

innaka hamidun majidun

allahumma salli 'ala al-awsiya'i walssu'ada'i

walshshuhada'i wa a'immati alhuda

allahumma salli 'ala al-abdali wal-awtadi

walssuyyahi wal'ubbadi

walmukhlisina walzzuhhadi

wa ahli aljiddi wal-ijtihadi

wakhsus Muhammadan wa ahla baytihi bi-afdali salawatika

wa ajzali karamatika

wa balligh ruhahu wa jasadahu minni tahiyyatan wa salaman

Translation

and send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

just as You have sent blessings, had mercy, and sent benedictions upon Abraham and the Household of Abraham.

You are verily worthy of all praise, full of all glory.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Successors, the happy,

the witnesses, and the leaders to the true guidance.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Substitutes (whom shall be given the favor of participating in Imam al-Mahdi’s campaigns, the loftiest personalities <

those observing fasting with devotion, those who ardently serve You,

those whom You have chosen, the ascetic servants,

and the people of painstaking and hardworking deeds.

(Please do) give Muhammad and his Household exclusively the best of Your blessings

and the most abundant of Your favors.

(Please do) convey to his soul and body my greetings and compliments

Dua Umme Dawood (10/24)

وَزِدْهُ فَضْلاً وَشَرَفاً وَكَرَماً حَتَّىٰ تُبَلِّغَهُ…

وَزِدْهُ فَضْلاً وَشَرَفاً وَكَرَماً

حَتَّىٰ تُبَلِّغَهُ اعْلَىٰ دَرَجَاتِ اهْلِ ٱلشَّرَفِ

مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

وَٱلافَاضِلِ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مَنْ سَمَّيْتُ وَمَنْ لَمْ اسَمِّ

مِنْ مَلائِكَتِكَ وَانْبِيَائِكَ

وَرُسُلِكَ وَاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ

وَاوْصِلْ صَلَوَاتِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَإِلَىٰ ارْوَاحِهِمْ

وَٱجْعَلْهُمْ إِخْوَانِي فِيكَ

وَاعْوَانِي عَلَىٰ دُعَائِكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَشْفِعُ بِكَ إِلَيْكَ

وَبِكَرَمِكَ إِلَىٰ كَرَمِكَ

Transliteration

wa zid-hu fadlan wa sharafan wa karaman

hatta tuballighahu a'la darajati ahli alshsharafi

min alnnabiyyina walmursalina

wal-afadili almuqarrabina

allahumma wa salli 'ala man sammaytu wa man lam usammi

min mala'ikatika wa anbiya'ika

wa rusulika wa ahli ta'atika

wa awsil salawati ilayhim wa ila arwahihim

waj'alhum ikhwani fika

wa a'wani 'ala du'a'ika

allahumma inni astashfi'u bika ilayka

wa bikaramika ila karamika

✦

Translation

and give him more favors, honor, and esteem

so that You will make him attain the most elevated ranks of the honored ones

from amongst the Prophets, the Messengers,

and the virtuous, favorable ones.

O Allah, (please) send blessings to those whose names I have mentioned or I have not

from amongst Your angels, Prophets,

Messengers, and obedient servants.

Convey my invocations of blessings to them and to their souls

and make them my brethren in You

and make them help me pray You.

O Allah, I seek Your intercession for me to You,

I seek Your honor in the name of Your honor,

Dua Umme Dawood (11/24)

وَبِجُودِكَ إِلَىٰ جُودِكَ وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ…

وَبِجُودِكَ إِلَىٰ جُودِكَ

وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ

وَبِاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ إِلَيْكَ

وَاسْالُكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِكُلِّ مَا سَالَكَ بِهِ احَدٌ مِنْهُمْ

مِنْ مَسْالَةٍ شَرِيفَةٍ غَيْرِ مَرْدُودَةٍ

وَبِمَا دَعَوْكَ بِهِ مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ مُجَابَةٍ غَيْرِ مُخَيِّبَةٍ

يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ

يَا حَلِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ

يَا جَلِيلُ يَا مُنِيلُ يَا جَمِيلُ

يَا كَفِيلُ يَا وَكِيلُ يَا مُقِيلُ

يَا مُجِيرُ يَا خَبِيرُ

يَا مُنِيرُ يَا مُبِيرُ

Transliteration

wa bijudika ila judika

wa birahmatika ila rahmatika

wa bi-ahli ta'atika ilayka

wa as'aluka allahumma bikulli ma sa'alaka bihi ahadun minhum

min mas'alatin sharifatin ghayri mardudatin

wa bima da'awka bihi min da'watin mujabatin ghayri mukhayyibatin

ya allahu ya rahmanu ya rahimu

ya halimu ya karimu ya 'azimu

ya jalilu ya munilu ya jamilu

ya kafilu ya wakilu ya muqilu

ya mujiru ya khabiru

ya muniru ya mubiru

✦

Translation

I seek Your magnanimity in the name of Your magnanimity,

and I seek Your mercy in the name of Your mercy

and in the name of the people of the obedience to You.

I thus beseech You, O Allah, in the name of all the things by whose names those people have besought You,

including the honorable requests that are never rejected by You

and all the responded and unfailing prayers that they have asked from You.

O Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful!

O All-forbearing! O All-generous! O All-great!

O All-majestic! O Bestower! O All-munificent!

O Surety! O Dependable! O Rescuer!

O Protector! O All-aware!

O All-luminous! O Eradicator (of the wrongdoers)!

يَا مَنِيعُ يَا مُدِيلُ يَا مُحِيلُ…

يَا مَنِيعُ يَا مُدِيلُ يَا مُحِيلُ

يَا كَبِيرُ يَا قَدِيرُ يَا بَصِيرُ

يَا شَكُورُ يَا بَرُّ

يَا طُهْرُ يَا طَاهِرُ

يَا قَاهِرُ يَا ظَاهِرُ

يَا بَاطِنُ يَا سَاتِرُ

يَا مُحِيطُ يَا مُقْتَدِرُ

يَا حَفِيظُ يَا مُتَجَبِّرُ

يَا قَرِيبُ يَا وَدُودُ

يَا مُبْدِئُ يَا مُعِيدُ يَا شَهِيدُ

يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ

Transliteration

ya mani'u ya mudilu ya muhilu

ya kabiru ya qadiru ya basiru

ya shakuru ya barru

ya tuhru ya tahiru

ya qahiru ya zahiru

ya batinu ya satiru

ya muhitu ya muqtadiru

ya hafizu ya mutajabbiru

ya qaribu ya wadudu

ya hamidu ya majidu

ya mubdi'u ya mu'idu ya shahidu

ya muhsinu ya mujmilu

O Shielding! O Grantor of victory! O Assuring!

O All-big! O All-powerful! O All-seer!

O most Ready to appreciate (servitude)! O All-benign!

O Source of purity! O All-pure!

O Omnipotent! O Evident!

O Immanent! O Concealer!

O All-encompassing! O All-prevailing!

O All-guarding! O Invincible!

O Nigh! O Loving!

O All-praised! O full of all glory!

O Originator! O Reproducer! O Witness!

O All-liberal! O All-bountiful!

يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ

يَا قَابِضُ يَا بَاسِطُ

يَا هَادِي يَا مُرْسِلُ

يَا مُرْشِدُ يَا مُسَدِّدُ

يَا مُعْطِي يَا مَانِعُ

يَا دَافِعُ يَا رَافِعُ

يَا بَاقِي يَا وَاقِي

يَا خَلاَّقُ يَا وَهَّابُ

يَا تَوَّابُ يَا فَتَّاحُ

يَا نَفَّاحُ يَا مُرْتَاحُ

يَا مَنْ بِيَدِهِ كُلُّ مِفْتَاحٍ

يَا نَفَّاعُ يَا رَؤُوفُ يَا عَطُوفُ

Transliteration

ya mun'imu ya mufdilu

ya qabidu ya basitu

ya hadi ya mursilu

ya murshidu ya musaddidu

ya mu'ti ya mani'u

ya dafi'u ya rafi'u

ya baqi ya waqi

ya khallaqu ya wahhabu

ya tawwabu ya fattahu

ya man biyadihi kullu miftahin

ya naffa'u ya ra'ufu ya 'atufu

O Straitening! O Enlarger!

O Guide! O Sender!

O Director! O Leader (to the truth)!

O Giver! O Forbidder!

O Repealer! O Raiser!

O Eternal! O Guardian!

O Accepter of repentance! O Decider!

O Donator! O Source of rest!

O He Who has in possessions the clues of all things!

يَا احَدُ يَا صَمَدُ

يَا نُورُ يَا مُدَبِّرُ

يَا فَرْدُ يَا وِتْرُ

يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا نَاصِرُ

يَا مُؤْنِسُ يَا بَاعِثُ يَا وَارِثُ

يَا عَالِمُ يَا حَاكِمُ

يَا بَادِي يَا مُتَعَالِي

wafiyyu ya muhayminu

ya 'azizu ya jabbaru

يَا عَلِيمُ يَا حَكِيمُ

يَا جَوَادُ يَا بَارِئُ

يَا بَارُّ يَاسَارُّ

يَا عَدْلُ يَا فَاصِلُ

يَا دَيَّانُ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ

يَا سَمِيعُ يَا بَدِيعُ

يَا خَفِيرُ يَا مُعِينُ

يَا نَاشِرُ يَا غَافِرُ

يَا قَدِيمُ يَا مُسَهِّلُ يَا مُيَسِّرُ

يَا مُمِيتُ يَا مُحْيِي

ya musawwiru ya musallimu yamutahabbibu

ya qa'imu ya da'imu

ya 'alimu ya hakimu

ya jawadu ya bari'u

ya barru ya sarru

ya 'adlu ya fasilu

ya dayyanu ya hannanu ya mannanu

ya sami'u ya badi'u

ya khafiru ya mu'inu

ya nashiru ya ghafiru

ya qadimu ya musahhilu ya muyassiru

ya mumitu ya muhyi

O Maker of visions! O Grantor of safety! O Amiable!

O Subsistent! O Everlasting!

O Knowing! O Wise!

O All-magnanimous! O Maker!

O Caring! O Source of pleasure!

O Fair! O Distinguisher (between the right and the wrong)!

O Master! O All-munificent! O Favorer!

O All-hearer! O best Maker!

O Observer! O Helper!

O Extender (of mercy)! O Forgiver!

O Eternal! O Alleviator! O Reliever!

يَا نَافِعُ يَا رَازِقُ يَا مُقْتَدِرُ…

يَا نَافِعُ يَا رَازِقُ

يَا مُقْتَدِرُ يَا مُسَبِّبُ

يَا مُغِيثُ يَامُغْنِي يَا مُقْنِي

يَا خَالِقُ يَا رَاصِدُ يَا وَاحِدُ

يَا حَاضِرُ يَا جَابِرُ

يَاحَافِظُ يَا شَدِيدُ

يَا غِيَاثُ يَا عَائِدُ يَا قَابِضُ

يَا مَنْ عَلاَ فَٱسْتَعْلَىٰ

فَكَانَ بِٱلْمَنْظَرِ ٱلاعْلَىٰ

يَا مَنْ قَرُبَ فَدَنَا

وَبَعُدَ فَنَاىٰ

وَعَلِمَ ٱلسِّرَّ وَاخْفَىٰ

Transliteration

ya nafi'u ya raziqu

ya muqtadiru ya musabbibu

ya mughithu ya mughni ya muqni

ya khaliqu ya rasidu ya wahidu

ya hadiru ya jabiru

ya hafizu ya shadidu

ya ghiyathu ya 'a'idu ya qabidu

ya man 'ala fasta'la

fakana bilmanzari al-a'la

ya man qaruba fadana

wa ba'uda fana'a

wa 'alima alssirra wa akhfa

Translation

O Grantor of benefits! O Provider of sustenance!

O All-competent! O Creator of causes!

O Aide! O Grantor of wealth! O Giver to hold!

O Creator! O Onlooker! O One!

O Present! O Mender!

O Safeguarding! O Firm (in punishment)!

O Aid! O Donor! O Straitening!

O He Who has mounted to the most elevated point,

He thus occupies the most exalted site!

O He Who has approached so closely that He has become the nearest of all things

and, at the same time, He has been so far that He is in the furthest point,

and He has known the secret and even what is more hidden!

يَا مَنْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلتَّدْبِيرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَقَادِيرُ…

يَا مَنْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلتَّدْبِيرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَقَادِيرُ

وَيَا مَنِ ٱلْعَسِيرُ عَلَيْهِ سَهْلٌ يَسِيرٌ

يَا مَنْ هُوَ عَلَىٰ مَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

يَا مُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحِ

يَا فَالِقَ ٱلإِصْبَاحِ

يَا بَاعِثَ ٱلارْوَاحِ

يَا ذَا ٱلْجُودِ وَٱلسَّمَاحِ

يَا رَادَّ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ

يَا نَاشِرَ ٱلامْوَاتِ

يَا جَامِعَ ٱلشَّتَاتِ

يَا رَازِقَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

وَيَا فَاعِلَ مَا يَشَاءُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ

Transliteration

ya man ilayhi alttadbiru wa lahu almaqadiru

wa ya man al'asiru 'alayhi sahlun yasirun

ya man huwa 'ala ma yasha'u qadirun

ya mursila alrriyahi

ya faliqa al-isbahi

ya ba'itha al-arwahi

ya dhaljudi walssamahi

ya radda ma qad fata

ya nashira al-amwati

ya jami'a alshshatati

ya raziqa man yasha'u bighayri hisabin

wa ya fa'ila ma yasha'u kayfa yasha'u

Translation

O He to Whom all management is relegated and to Whom all measures are referred!

O He for Whom the most difficult thing is easy and simple!

O He Who has power to do whatever He wills!

O He Who sends forth the wind!

O He Who causes the dawn to break!

O He Who revives the spirits!

O Lord of magnanimity and lenience!

O He Who has the power to restore that which has been missed!

O He Who resurrects the dead bodies!

O He Who draws together the dispersal!

O He Who provides sustenance to whomever He wants without measure!

O He Who has power to do whatever He wills however He wills!

وَيَا ذَا ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ يَا حَيُّ…

وَيَا ذَا ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

يَا حَيّاً حِينَ لاَ حَيُّ

يَا حَيُّ يَا مُحْيِيَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

يَاحَيُّ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

يَا إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Transliteration

wa ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

ya hayyu ya qayyumu

ya hayyan hina la hayya

ya hayyu ya muhyiya almawta

ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta

badi'u alssamawati wal-ardi

ya ilahi wa sayyidi

salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

warham Muhammadan wa ala Muhammadin

wa barik 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

kama sallayta wa barakta wa rahimta 'ala ibrahima wa ali ibrahima

innaka hamidun majidun

✦

Translation

O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

O Ever-living! O Self-subsistent!

O He Who existed when there existed nothing else!

O Ever-living! O Reviver of the dead!

O Ever-living! There is no god save You

the excellent Maker of the heavens and the earth.

O my God and my Master,

(please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

have mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

and send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

just as You have sent blessings and benedictions and had mercy upon Abraham and the household of Abraham.

You are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory.

وَٱرْحَمْ ذُلِّي وَفَاقَتِي وَفَقْرِي وَٱنْفِرَادِي وَوَحْدَتِي…

وَٱرْحَمْ ذُلِّي وَفَاقَتِي

وَفَقْرِي وَٱنْفِرَادِي وَوَحْدَتِي

وَخُضُوعِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

وَٱعْتِمَادِي عَلَيْكَ

وَتَضَرُّعِي إِلَيْكَ

ادْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ ٱلْخَاضِعِ ٱلذَّلِيلِ

ٱلْخَاشِعِ ٱلْخَائِفِ

ٱلْمُشْفِقِ ٱلْبَائِسِ

ٱلْمَهِينِ ٱلْحَقِيرِ

ٱلْجَائِعِ ٱلْفَقِيرِ

ٱلْعَائِذِ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِ

ٱلْمُقِرِّ بِذَنْبِهِ

Transliteration

warham dhulli wa faqati

wa faqri wanfiradi wa wahdati

wa khudu'i bayna yadayka

wa'timadi 'alayka

wa tadarru'i ilayka

ad'uka du'a'a alkhadi'i aldhdhalili

alkhashi'i alkha'ifi

almushfiqi alba'isi

almahini alhaqiri

alja'i'i alfaqiri

al'a'idhi almustajiri

almuqirri bidhanbihi

✦

Translation

Have mercy upon my humiliation, neediness,

poverty, loneliness, aloneness,

humbleness before You,

reliance upon You,

and submission to You.

I implore You with the imploring of the humble, the subservient,

the fearful, the scared

the afraid, the miserable,

the modest, the insignificant,

the hungry, the poor,

the seeker of Your refuge, the seeker of Your protection,

the confessing of his sins,

ٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ مِنْهُ ٱلْمُسْتَكِينِ لِرَبِّهِ دُعَاءَ مَنْ…

ٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ مِنْهُ

ٱلْمُسْتَكِينِ لِرَبِّهِ

دُعَاءَ مَنْ اسْلَمَتْهُ ثِقَتُهُ

وَرَفَضَتْهُ احِبَّتُهُ

وَعَظُمَتْ فَجِيعَتُهُ

دُعَاءَ حَرِقٍ حَزِينٍ

ضَعِيفٍ مَهِينٍ

بَائِسٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ

بِكَ مُسْتَجِيرٍ

اَللَّهُمَّ وَاسْالُكَ بِانَّكَ مَلِيكٌ

وَانَّكَ مَا تَشَاءُ مِنْ امْرٍ يَكُونُ

وَانَّكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

Transliteration

almustaghfiri minhu

almustakini lirabbihi

du'a'a man aslamat-hu thiqatuhu

wa rafadat-hu ahibbatuhu

wa 'azumat faji'atuhu

du'a'a hariqin hazinin

da'ifin mahinin

ba'isin mustakinin

bika mustajirin

allahumma wa as'aluka bi'annaka malikun

wa annaka ma tasha'u min amrin yakunu

wa annaka 'ala ma tasha'u qadirun

Translation

the implorer for You to forgive his sin,

and the humble to his Lord;

I implore You with the imploration of one whom has been disappointed by those whom he trusts,

rejected by his intimate ones,

and whose catastrophe has been enormous.

I implore You the imploration of one burning, sad,

weak, mortified,

depressed, wretched,

and resorting to Your shelter.

O Allah, I also beseech You in the name of Your being the King,

whatever You will shall definitely take place,

and You have power over all things.

وَاسْالُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ هٰذَا ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَٱلْبَيْتِ…

وَاسْالُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ هٰذَا ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

وَٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

وَٱلرُّكْنِ وَٱلْمَقَامِ

وَٱلْمَشَاعِرِ ٱلْعِظَامِ

وَبِحَقِّ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

يَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لآِدَمَ شَيْثاً

وَلإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ

وَيَا مَنْ رَدَّ يُوسُفَ عَلَىٰ يَعْقُوبَ

وَيَا مَنْ كَشَفَ بَعْدَ ٱلْبَلاءِ ضُرَّ ايُّوْبَ

يَا رَادَّ مُوسَىٰ عَلَىٰ امِّهِ

وَزَائِدَ ٱلْخِضْرِ فِي عِلْمِهِ

Transliteration

wa as'aluk bihurmati hadha alshshahri alharami

walbayti alharami

walbaladi alharami

walrrukni walmaqami

walmasha'iri al'izami

wa bihaqqi nabiyyika Muhammadin 'alayhi wa alihi alssalamu

ya man wahaba li'adama shaythan

wa li'ibrahima isma'ila wa ishaqa

wa ya man radda yusufa 'ala ya'quba

wa ya man kashafa ba'da albala'i durra ayyuba

ya radda musa 'ala ummihi

wa za'ida alkhidri fi 'ilmihi

Translation

I beseech You in the name of the holiness of this sacred month,

the Sacred House,

the Sacred Town,

the Rukn (i.e. the corner of the Holy Ka'bah), the Maqam (i.e. the standing-place of Prophet Abraham),

the great rituals,

and in the name of Your Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household.

O He Who gave Shayth to Adam,

and gave Ishmael and Isaac to Abraham!

O He Who returned Joseph to Jacob!

O He Who relieved Job from his harm after long hardships!

O He Who returned Moses to his mother!

O He Who increased al-Khadir knowledge!

وَيَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ وَلِزَكَرِيَّا…

وَيَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ

وَلِزَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَىٰ

وَلِمَرْيَمَ عِيسَىٰ

يَا حَافِظَ بِنْتِ شُعَيْبٍ

وَيَا كَافِلَ وَلَدِ امِّ مُوسَىٰ

اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَانْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا

وَتُجِيرَنِي مِنْ عَذَابِكَ

وَتُوجِبَ لِي رِضْوَانَكَ وَ امَانَكَ

وَإِحْسَانَكَ وَغُفْرَانَكَ وَجِنَانَكَ

وَاسْالُكَ انْ تَفُكَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ حَلْقَةٍ

بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَنْ يُؤْذِينِي

Transliteration

wa ya man wahaba lidawuda sulaymana

wa lizakariyya yahya

wa limaryama 'isa

ya hafiza binti shu'aybin

wa ya kafila waladi umm musa

as'aluka an tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

wa an taghfira li dhunubi kullaha

wa tujirani min 'adhabika

wa tujiba li ridwanaka wa amanaka

wa ihsanaka wa ghufranaka wa jinanaka

wa as'aluka an tafukka 'anni kulla halqatin

bayni wa bayna man yu'dhini

✦

Translation

O He Who gave Solomon to David,

gave Jonah to Zachariah,

and gave Jesus to Mary!

O He Who safeguarded the daughter of Shu'ayb!

O He Who cared for the son of the mother of Moses!

I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

forgive my all sins,

save me from Your chastisement,

and confer upon me with Your pleasure and security

and with Your favoring, forgiveness, and gardens of Your Paradise.

I ask You to redeem me from all circles of misfortune

that are drawn around those who intend harm to me and me,

وَتَفْتَحَ لِي كُلَّ بَابٍ وَتُلَيِّنَ لِي…

وَتَفْتَحَ لِي كُلَّ بَابٍ

وَتُلَيِّنَ لِي كُلَّ صَعْبٍ

وَتُسَهِّلَ لِي كُلَّ عَسِيرٍ

وَتُخْرِسَ عَنِّي كُلَّ نَاطِقٍ بِشَرٍّ

وَتَكُفَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ بَاغٍ

وَتَكْبِتَ عَنِّي كُلَّ عَدُوٍّ لِي وَحَاسِدٍ

وَتَمْنَعَ مِنِّي كُلَّ ظَالِمٍ

وَتَكْفِيَنِي كُلَّ عَائِقٍ يَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ حَاجَتِي

وَيُحَاوِلُ انْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ طَاعَتِكَ

وَيُثَبِّطَنِي عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ

يَا مَنْ الْجَمَ ٱلْجِنَّ ٱلْمُتَمَرِّدِينَ

وَقَهَرَ عُتَاةَ ٱلشَّيَاطِينِ

Transliteration

wa taftaha li kulla babin

wa tulayyina li kulla sa'bin

wa tusahhila li kulla 'asirin

wa tukhrisa 'anni kulla natiqin bisharrin

wa takuffa 'anni kulla baghin

wa takbita 'anni kulla 'aduwwin li wa hasidin

wa tamna'a minni kulla zalimin

wa takfiyani kulla 'a'iqin yahulu bayni wa bayna hajati

wa yuhawilu an yufarriqa bayni wa bayna ta'atika

wa yuthabbitani 'an 'ibadatika

ya man aljama aljinna almutamarridina

wa qahara 'utata alshshayatini

✦

Translation

unlock for me all doors,

make easy for me all hardships,

alleviate for me all difficult matters,

mute all those who speak ill of me,

defend me against all oppressors,

suppress all my enemies and envious ones,

protect me against all unjust ones,

and rescue me from all impediments that lie between my needs and me,

try to take me away from acts of obedience to You,

and try to frustrate me from serving You.

O He Who has bridled all mutinous jinn,

overcome all tyrannical devils,

وَاذَلَّ رِقَابَ ٱلْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ وَرَدَّ كَيْدَ ٱلْمُتَسَلِّطِينَ…

وَاذَلَّ رِقَابَ ٱلْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ

وَرَدَّ كَيْدَ ٱلْمُتَسَلِّطِينَ عَنِ ٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ

اسْالُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ

وَتَسْهِيلِكَ لِمَا تَشَاءُ كَيْفَ تَشَاءُ

انْ تَجْعَلَ قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي فِيمَا تَشَاءُ

Transliteration

wa adhalla riqaba almutajabbirina

wa radda kayda almutasallitina 'an almustad'afina

as'aluka biqudratika 'ala ma tasha'u

wa tas-hilika lima tasha'u kayfa tasha'u

an taj'ala qada'a hajati fima tasha'u

Translation

mortified the necks of the oppressors,

and deterred all the ruling authorities from harming the enfeebled ones!

I beseech You in the name of Your power over all things

and Your alleviating whatever You will however You will,

to grant my requests as You will.

Dua in Sajdah

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ فَٱرْحَمْ…

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ

وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ

فَٱرْحَمْ ذُلِّي وَفَاقَتِي

وَٱجْتِهَادِي وَتَضَرُّعِي

وَمَسْكَنَتِي وَفَقْرِي إِلَيْكَ يَا رَبِّ

Transliteration

allahumma laka sajadtu

wa bika amantu

farham dhulli wa faqati

wajtihadi wa tadarru'i

wa maskanati wa faqri ilayka ya rabbi

Translation

O Allah, I am prostrating myself before You

and I have full faith in You;

so, (please) have mercy upon my humility, neediness,

efforts, meekness,

paucity, and my want to You, O my Lord.

You should try to shed even a single drop of tear, for this is the signal of admission.
