Dua and Amaal for 13th of the month of Ramadan

O Allah: on this day, (please) purify me against filth and dirt;

And grant me on this day steadfastness against vicissitude of time,

And lead me on this day to piety and companionship of the upright ones;

Out of Your assistance; O the delight of the poor ones.

O Compeller of the heavens and the earths!

O He to whom belongs the Dominion of the heavens and the earths

O Forgiver of sins and the All-Hearing and All-Knowing!

All-Forgiving! Exalted in Might! Glory be to the Forebearing, the Generous! O Eternal, Absolute!

O the Only! There is no one comparable to You, and there is no guardian for You!

You are the Highest High! The one who destines! The Powerful!

Verily You are the Ever- Relenting, the Merciful!

I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

to forgive me and have Mercy on me

verily You are the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate!

“O‟ God! O‟ Compassionate! O‟ Lord! O‟ God! - O‟ Guardian! O‟ God! O‟ Lord! - O‟ Proud! O‟ God! O‟ Lord! - O‟ Most Exalted! O‟ God! O‟ Lord! - O‟ Reproducer! O‟ God! O‟ Lord!

O‟ Lord of Bestowals! He who is Benevolent. There is no God but You. O‟ God! O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor!

O‟ God! O‟ Lord! O‟ He who reveals the beauties and hides the ugliness!

O‟ He who is does not take revenge for misdeeds and does not divulge secrets!

O‟ Generous one who Pardons! O‟ He who overlooks faults! O‟ Vast Forgiver!

O‟ Extender of both hands with mercy!

O‟ Friend of Abraham (as)! O‟ Savior of Moses (as)! O‟ Chooser of Muhammad (as)!

O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and save me from the Fire in this grand month.

Please do not make this the last month of Ramadhan in which I fast for You. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”

Now ask for what you want and think that God the Sublime will fulfill it for you if God the Sublime Wills.”

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Allah, I have faith in You with obedience and Wilayat and the Wilayat of Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) and the Wilayat of Ameerul Momineen (a.s.), the beloved of Your Prophet.

The Wilayat of Hasan and Husain, the grandsons of Your Prophet and the two chiefs of the youths of Paradise.

And I have faith in You,O Lord by the Wilayat of Ali Ibnul Husain and Muhammad bin Ali and Ja’far bin Muhammad and Moosa bin Ja’far and Ali bin Moosa and Muhammad bin Ali and Ali bin Muhammad and Hasan bin Ali and my chief and master, the owner of the time.

I have faith in You, O Lord, by their obedience and their Wilayat and with submission by what You made them excel in; I am satisfied without any denial of arrogance upon what You revealed in Your Book.

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad and remove from Your Wali and caliph and tongue and one, who establish justice and exalt Your sanctity and the repeater of Your words, speaker of Your command, seer of Your eyes, the hearer of Your ears, watcher of Your servants and proof of Your creatures and fighter on Your way and struggler in Your obedience.

Remove all sorts of hardships and make him Your trust, which is never lost; and help him with Your victorious soldiers and support and back him.

And make me and my parents and those who are born, their helpers and who take his help in the world and the hereafter.

Bring together our dispersal for him, and unite our disunity for him.

O Allah, finish off injustice through his reappearance and destroy all those who oppose him and break the backs of the leaders of deviation till the time you don’t leave even one of them on the earth.

and all praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds,

and may Allah send blessings upon His prophets and His angels.

O Allah, Lord of this noble day in this honored, great month,

I ask You to meet my wrongdoing with Your goodness,

my folly with Your mercy, my sins with Your forgiveness,

my bad deeds with Your overlooking, my excesses with Your pardon,

my weakness with Your support, my poverty with Your wealth and expansiveness,

my misery with Your grace, my despair with Your care,

and my difficulty with Your ease, for You,

O my Lord, are the Possessor of great bounty,

beneficial trial, and noble generosity.

O Most Merciful of the merciful,

and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.

O Allah, the oppressors denied Your signs and disbelieved in Your Book.

And they denied Your messengers and refused to worship You.

They turned away from the creed of Your close friend and altered what Your messenger brought.

And they legislated other than Your religion and followed other than Your guidance.

And they adopted laws other than Your tradition and transgressed Your limits.

And they strove to challenge Your signs and cooperated to extinguish Your light.

And they obstructed Your path and rejected Your blessings.

And they opposed the guardians of Your command and allied with Your enemies.

And they were hostile to Your allies and recognized, then denied, Your blessings.

And they did not remember Your favors and felt secure from Your plan.

And their hearts hardened against Your remembrance, and they deemed Your forbidden matters lawful.

And they prohibited what You made lawful and dared to disobey You.

And they did not fear Your wrath and forgot Your punishment.

And they did not beware of Your might and were deceived by Your blessings.

O Allah, pour [and take revenge] upon them and pour Your punishment upon them.

And uproot them completely and cut off their lineage.

And weaken their might and tyranny, and strip them of their strength.

And shake their footing and strike fear into their hearts.

O Allah, they have taken Your religion as a deception, Your wealth as a privilege, and Your servants as slaves.

O Allah, restrain their aggression, blunt their edge, and weaken their plotting.

And make their enemies rejoice over them and heal the hearts of the believers.

O Allah, break their support and overpower their tyrants.

And turn the cycle against them and demolish their structures.

And create discord among them and scatter their unity.

And disperse their affairs and turn their aggression against each other.

And send upon them a punishment from above them and from beneath their feet.

And let the believers spill their blood.

And grant the believers their land, homes, and wealth as inheritance.

O Allah, nullify their deeds and cut off their hopes.

And invalidate their arguments and lead them to ruin from where they do not expect.

And bring upon them torment from where they do not perceive.

And send upon them what they fear most.

And hold them to a severe reckoning and punish them with a grievous torment.

And make the outcome of their affairs a great loss.

O Allah, they have traded Your signs for a paltry price and behaved with extreme arrogance.

O Allah, seize them with a relentless grip and utterly destroy them.

And annihilate them completely, and leave them with no helper on earth.

And no intercessor in the heavens, and curse them with a mighty curse.

O Allah, they have neglected the prayer, followed their desires, and committed evil deeds.

O Allah, seize them with trials and bring upon them calamities.

And show them regret, O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth.

O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

And have mercy upon us with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, I submit to You, O Lord, in obedience to You.

And we do not deny the authority of Muhammad, Your Messenger, peace be upon him and his family.

And the authority of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him.

And the authority of Hasan and Husayn, peace be upon them, the grandsons of Your Prophet and sons of Your Messenger.

And the authority of the purified, infallible ones from the lineage of Husayn.

Ali ibn Husayn, Muhammad ibn Ali, and Ja’far ibn Muhammad.

Musa ibn Ja’far, Ali ibn Musa, and Muhammad ibn Ali.

Ali ibn Muhammad and Hasan ibn Ali, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon them all.

And the authority of the Awaited One among them, the bringer of good, whose obedience is obligatory, the Master of the Age, peace be upon him.

O Lord, I submit to You through obedience to them, their authority, and acceptance of their commands.

With full acceptance, neither denying, nor arrogant, nor rejecting.

According to what You have revealed in Your Book.

In accordance with what has reached us, accepting that which You have approved.

Submitting and affirming this, O Lord, in awe of You and longing for what You have.

O Allah, protect Your guardian, the son of Your Prophet, Your Caliph, and Your proof over Your creation, the witness over Your servants.

The one who strives and exerts effort in Your obedience, Your chosen one, and Your trusted representative on Your earth.

Grant him refuge from the evil of what You have created and brought forth.

Place him within Your protection, where none is lost who resides therein, and within Your care, where none can be overcome.

Grant him safety with Your security, shelter him in Your care, and grant him victory with Your mighty support, O Allah, Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, protect him with tranquility, and clothe him with Your impenetrable armor.

Aid him and grant him victory with Your noble support, a mighty triumph.

Grant him an easy and decisive conquest, and bestow upon him from Your presence a powerful authority.

O Allah, befriend those who befriend him, and oppose those who oppose him.

Support those who support him, and abandon those who forsake him.

Ameen, O Lord of the worlds!

O Allah, protect him with tranquility and clothe him in Your impenetrable armor.

Help him and grant him a mighty victory through Your noble support.

Grant him an easy and decisive triumph.

Bestow upon him from Your presence a strong and supportive authority.

O Allah, befriend those who befriend him and oppose those who oppose him.

Support those who support him and forsake those who forsake him.

O Allah, mend our fractures through him and close our gaps through him.

Unite our scattered state through him and increase our small numbers through him.

Strengthen us in our weakness through him and relieve our debts through him.

Compensate our poverty through him and fill our needs through him.

Enrich our destitution through him and ease our hardships through him.

Shield our faces through him and grant success to our requests through him.

Answer our prayers through him and grant us more than we desire through him.

Heal our hearts through him and guide us to the truth in matters of dispute.

O Lord, indeed You guide whom You will to the straight path.

O Allah, eliminate oppression through him and establish justice through him.

Strengthen his supporters and forsake his detractors.

Destroy those who set traps for him and ruin those who deceive him.

Kill the tyrants of disbelief through him and shatter the heads of misguidance.

And all the people of innovation and those who strengthen falsehood.

Subdue the tyrants through him and bring benefit to the disbelievers and hypocrites.

And all the heretics in the East and West of the earth.

Its land, sea, plains, and mountains.

Do not leave a trace of them on the earth, nor any remains of their footprints.

O Allah, manifest him and open through his hands all blessings, and make our relief with him and through him.

O Allah, help us in following the paths of guidance, the great way, and the middle path, to which the devoted return and the followers follow.

Grant us success in following him and fulfilling his rights. Bestow upon us the honor of following him in times of hardship and adversity, and make us among those seeking Your pleasure through assisting him, so that we are gathered on the Day of Judgment in his support, his helpers, and the aid of his sovereignty.

Make this purely for us, free from any doubt, suspicion, showing off, or seeking attention. We seek nothing from it but You, and we desire none other than You.

Grant us his position and make us in goodness with him. Remove from us in his matter weariness, laziness, and delay. Do not replace us with others, for replacing us with others is easy for You, but difficult for us.

And we have known of Your grace and kindness, O Most Generous. May Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace.

“Praise be to God Who grants and does not withhold, and is forebearing and does not rush.

He gave me the greatest favor with belief in monotheism, called me to do good deeds and servitude,

He ordered me to pray, then once I prayed to Him, I found Him to be my help at times of hardship.

I saw that even though He was inaccessible to me, He fulfilled my prayers.

He did not even deprive me of what I desired when I did what He disliked.

He overlooked my slippage, fulfilled my needs, compensated me for my staying up at night, and rushed to help me,

increased my awareness and knowledge with His Power and the enforcement of His Will.

O‟ my God! Whatever You have bestowed on me besides the belief in Your Oneness is lower than it even if it is a lot, and does not equal it even if it is great

since all these are blessings of the life that ends, but it is the blessing for the Eternal Life that shall never end.

Thus O‟ He who bestowed this especially on me out of His Mercy.

Please grant me success in doing what would honor the respect for what You have bestowed upon me.

O‟ my God! Please brighten my deeds with the light of guidance.

Do not darken them by the fact that You have let me have free will, and the possibility of following my lust so that I may become of those who rebel,

and do what may cause Your Wrath after Your being pleased with me.

And You have Power over all things. Please bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny (as). And may His Peace be on them plentifully.”
