Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (1/15)

يَا عُدَّتِي فِي كُرْبَتِي وَيَا صَاحِبِي…

يَا عُدَّتِي فِي كُرْبَتِي

وَيَا صَاحِبِي فِي شِدَّتِي

وَيَا وَلِيِّي فِي نِعْمَتِي

وَيَا غَايَتِي فِي رَغْبَتِي

أَنْتَ ٱلسَّاتِرُ عَوْرَتِي

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُ رَوْعَتِي

وَٱلْمُقِيلُ عَثْرَتِي

فَٱغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خُشُوعَ ٱلإِيـمَانِ

قَبْلَ خُشُوعِ ٱلذُلَّ فِي ٱلنَّارِ

يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ

يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

Transliteration

ya 'uddati fi kurbati

wa ya sahibi fi shiddati

wa ya waliyyi fi ni'mati

wa ya ghayati fi raghbati

anta alssatiru 'awrati

walmu'minu raw'ati

walmuqilu 'athrati

faghfir li khati'ati

allahumma inni as'aluka khushu'a al'imani

qabla khushu'i aldhulli fi alnnari

ya wahidu ya ahadu ya samadu

ya man lam yalid wa lam yulad

Translation

O my means in troubles!

O my Companion in hardships!

O the Provider of my amenities!

O the utmost of my desires!

It is You Who conceals my defects,

relieves my apprehensions,

and overlooks my slips.

So, (please do) forgive my sin.

O Allah, I pray You for the submission of faith

before I encounter the submission of humiliation in Hellfire.

O One!: O Absolute! O Besought of all!

O He Who neither begets nor is He begotten,

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (2/15)

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ يَا…

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ

يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي مَنْ سَأَلَهُ

تَحَنُّناً مِنْهُ وَرَحْمَةً

وَيَبْتَدِئُ بِٱلْخَيْرِ مَنْ لَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ

تَفَضُّلاً مِنْهُ وَكَرَماً

بِكَرَمِكَ ٱلدَّائِمِ

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَهَبْ لِي رَحْمَةً وَاسِعَةً جَامِعَةً

أَبْلُغُ بِهَا خَيْرَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ عُدْتُ فِيهِ

وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَرَدْتُ بِهِ وَجْهَكَ

فَخَالَطَنِي فِيهِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ

Transliteration

wa lam yakun lahu kufwan ahadun

ya man yu'ti man sa'alahu

tahannunan minhu wa rahmatan

wa yabtadi'u bilkhayri man lam yas'alhu

tafaddulan minhu wa karaman

bikaramika aldda'imi

salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

wa hab li rahmatan wasi'atan jami'atan

ablughu biha khayra alddunya wal-akhirati

allahumma inni astaghfiruka lima tubtu ilayka minhu thumm 'udtu fihi

wa astaghfiruka likulli khayrin aradtu bihi wajhaka

fakhalatani fihi ma laysa laka

✦

Translation

and there is none like to Him

O He Who confers upon one who beseeches Him

on account of His sympathy and mercy,

and initially grants welfare to those who have not asked for it,

on account of His liberality and generosity!

I beseech You in the name of Your endless generosity

to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

and bestow upon me with mercy—vast and comprehensive—

by which I can win the welfare of this world as well as the Next World.

O Allah, I implore for Your forgiveness of the sins from which I had repented to You but I committed them again.

I implore for Your forgiveness of my righteous acts that although I intended them purely for Your sake,

some purposes that are not intended for You intruded upon them.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (3/15)

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ…

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱعْفُ عَنْ ظُلْمِي وَجُرْمِي

بِحِلْمِكَ وَجُودِكَ يَا كَرِيمُ

يَا مَنْ لاَ يَخِيبُ سَائِلُهُ

وَلاَ يَنْفَدُ نَائِلُهُ

يَا مَنْ عَلاَ فَلاَ شَيْءَ فَوْقَهُ

وَدَنَا فَلاَ شَيْءَ دُونَهُ

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱرْحَمْنِي

يَا فَالِقَ ٱلْبَحْرِ لِمُوسَىٰ

ٱللَّيْلَةَ ٱللَّيْلَةَ ٱللَّيْلَةَ

ٱلسَّاعَةَ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ٱلسَّاعَةَ

Transliteration

allahumma salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

wa'fu 'an zulmi wa jurmi

bihilmika wa judika ya karimu

ya man la yakhibu sa'iluhu

wa la yanfadu na'iluhu

ya man 'ala fala shay'a fawqahu

wa dana fala shay'a dunahu

salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

warhamni

ya faliqa albahri limusa

allaylata allaylata allaylata

alssa'ata alssa'ata alssa'ata

✦

Translation

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

and pardon my transgression and my offenses,

in the name of Your forbearance and magnanimity. O All-generous!

O He Whose beseecher will never be disappointed!

O He Whose His rewards will never run out!

O He Who is so Elevated that nothing can ever be higher than He is

and Who is so Nigh that nothing can ever be closer that He is!

(Please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

and have mercy upon me,

O He Who split asunder the sea for (Prophet) Moses,

this very night, this very night, this very night,

this very hour, this very hour, this very hour.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (4/15)

اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ ٱلنِّفَاقِ وَعَمَلِي…

اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ ٱلنِّفَاقِ

وَعَمَلِي مِنَ ٱلرِّيَاءِ

وَلِسَانِي مِنَ ٱلكَذِبِ

وَعَيْنِي مِنَ ٱلْخِيَانَةِ

فَإِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ ٱلأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي ٱلصُّدُورُ

يَا رَبِّ هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْعَائِذِ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْمُسْتَغِيثِ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْهَارِبِ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ مَنْ يَبُوءُ لَكَ بِخَطِيئَتِهِ

وَيَعْتَرِفُ بِذَنْبِهِ

وَيَتُوبُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ

Transliteration

allahumma tahhir qalbi min alnnifaqi

wa 'amali min alrriya'i

wa lisani min alkadhibi

wa 'ayni min alkhiyanati

fa'innaka ta'lamu kha'inata al-a'yuni wa ma tukhfi alssuduru

ya rabbi hadha maqamu al'a'idhi bika min alnnari

hadha maqamu almustajiri bika min alnnari

hadha maqamu almustaghithi bika min alnnari

hadha maqamu alharibi ilayka min alnnari

hadha maqamu man yabu'u laka bikhati'atihi

wa ya'tarifu bidhanbihi

wa yatubu ila rabbihi

✦

Translation

O Allah, (please do) purify my heart from hypocrisy,

my acts from showing off,

my tongue from telling untruths,

and my eye from treason.

You verily know the stealthy looks and that which the breasts conceal.

O my Lord, this is the manner of him who seeks Your protection from Hellfire.

This is the manner of him who seeks Your shelter against Hellfire.

This is the manner of him who seeks Your aid against Hellfire.

This is the manner of him who flees to You from Hellfire.

This is the manner of him who returns to You carrying his offenses,

confessing of his sins,

and repenting to You—his Lord.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (5/15)

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْبَائِسِ ٱلْفَقِيرِ هٰذَا مَقَامُ…

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْبَائِسِ ٱلْفَقِيرِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْخَائِفِ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْمَحْزُونِ ٱلْمَكْرُوبِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْمَغْمُومِ ٱلْمَهْمُومِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْغَرِيبِ ٱلْغَرِيقِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ ٱلْمُسْتَوْحِشِ ٱلْفَرِقِ

هٰذَا مَقَامُ مَنْ لاَ يَجِدُ لِذَنْبِهِ غَافِراً غَيْرَكَ

وَلاَ لِضَعْفِهِ مُقَوِّياً إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

وَلاَ لِهَمِّهِ مُفَرِّجاً سِوَاكَ

يَا اللَّهُ يَا كَرِيمُ

لاَ تُحْرِقْ وَجْهِي بِٱلنَّارِ بَعْدَ سُجُودِي لَكَ وَتَعْفِيرِي

بِغَيرِ مَنٍّ مِنِّي عَلَيْكَ

Transliteration

hadha maqamu alba'isi alfaqiri

hadha maqamu alkha'ifi almustajiri

hadha maqamu almahzuni almakrubi

hadha maqamu almaghmumi almahmumi

hadha maqamu algharibi alghariqi

hadha maqamu almustawhishi alfariqi

hadha maqamu man la yajidu lidhanbihi ghafiran ghayraka

wa la lida'fihi muqawiyyan illa anta

wa la lihammihi mufarrijan siwaka

ya allahu ya karimu

la tuhriq wajhi bilnnari ba'da sujudi laka wa ta'firi

bighayri mannin minni 'alayka

✦

Translation

This is the manner of the miserable and poor.

This is the manner of the fearful and seeker of Your refuge.

This is the manner of the aggrieved and distressed.

This is the manner of the depressing and gloomy.

This is the manner of the stranger and drowned.

This is the manner of the alienated and frightened.

This is the manner of him who cannot find anyone save You to forgive his sins,

who cannot find anyone save You to give him power,

and who cannot find anyone save You to relieve his grief.

O Allah! O All-generous!

(please) do not burn my face with Hellfire after I have prostrated myself before You and I have soiled my face for You.

Of course, this is not a personal favor that I have done to myself;

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (6/15)

بَلْ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَٱلْمَنُّ وَٱلتَّفَضُّلُ عَلَيَّ…

بَلْ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَٱلْمَنُّ وَٱلتَّفَضُّلُ عَلَيَّ

إِرْحَمْ أَيْ رَبِّ أَيْ رَبِّ أَيْ رَبِّ

ضَعْفِي

وَقِلَّةَ حِيلَتِي

وَرِقَّةَ جِلْدِي

وَتَبَدُّدَ أَوْصَالِي

وَتَنَاثُرَ لَحْمِي وَجِسْمِي وَجَسَدِي

وَوَحْدَتِي وَوَحْشَتِي فِي قَبْرِي

وَجَزَعِي مِنْ صَغِيرِ ٱلْبَلاَءِ

أَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ قُرَّةَ ٱلْعَيْنِ وَٱلاِغْتِبَاطَ

يَوْمَ ٱلْحَسْرَةِ وَٱلنَّدَامَةِ

بَيِّضْ وَجْهِي يَا رَبِّ يَوْمَ تَسْوَدُّ ٱلْوُجُوهُ

Transliteration

bal laka alhamdu walmannu walttafaddulu 'alayya

irham ay rabbi ay rabbi ay rabbi…

da'fi

wa qillata hilati

wa riqqata jildi

wa tabadduda awsali

wa tanathura lahmi wa jismi wa jasadi

wa wahdati wa wahshati fi qabri

wa jaza'i min saghiri albala'i

as'aluka ya rabbi qurrata al'ayni walightibata

yawma alhasrati walnnadamati

bayyid wajhi ya rabbi yawma taswaddu alwujuhu

✦

Translation

rather, it is on account of Your praiseworthy favor to and guidance of me.

So, have mercy, O Lord! O Lord! O Lord…

upon my weakness,

upon my confusedness,

upon the softness of my skin,

upon the separation of my organs,

upon the dispersal of my flesh, body, and corpse,

upon my loneliness and lonesomeness in my grave,

and upon my anxiety at the least misfortune that inflicts me.

I beseech You, O Lord, for delight and happiness

on the Day of regret and remorse.

(Please do) whiten my face, O Lord, when some faces will be blackened.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (7/15)

آمِنِّي مِنَ ٱلْفَزَعِ ٱلأَكْبَرِ أَسْأَلُكَ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ…

آمِنِّي مِنَ ٱلْفَزَعِ ٱلأَكْبَرِ

أَسْأَلُكَ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ ٱلْقُلُوبُ وَٱلأَبْصَارُ

وَٱلْبُشْرَىٰ عِنْدَ فِرَاقِ ٱلدُّنْيَا

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَرْجُوهُ عَوْناً لِي فِي حَيَاتِي

وَأُعِدُّهُ ذُخْراً لِيَوْمِ فَاقَتِي

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَدْعُوهُ وَلاَ أَدْعُو غَيْرَهُ

وَلَوْ دَعَوْتُ غَيْرَهُ لَخَيَّبَ دُعَائِي

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَرْجُوهُ وَلاَ أَرْجُو غَيْرَهُ

وَلَوْ رَجَوْتُ غَيْرَهُ َلأَخْلَفَ رَجَائِي

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْمُنْعِمِ ٱلْمُحْسِنِ

ٱلْمُجْمِلِ ٱلْمُفْضِلِ

ذِي ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

Transliteration

aminni min alfaza'i al-akbari

as'aluka albushra yawma tuqallabu alqulubu wal-absaru

walbushra 'inda firaqi alddunya

alhamdu lillahi alladhi arjuhu 'awnan li fi hayati

wa u'idduhu dhukhran liyawmi faqati

alhamdu lillahi alladhi ad'uhu wa la ad'u ghayrahu

wa law da'awtu ghayrahu lakhayyaba du'a'i

alhamdu lillahi alladhi arjuhu wa la arju ghayrahu

wa law rajawtu ghayrahu la-akhlafa raja'i

alhamdu lillahi almun'imi almuhsini

almujmili almufdili

dhi aljalali wal-ikrami

✦

Translation

(Please do) secure me against the Gravest Horror.

I beseech You for good tidings when hearts and sights shall be turned about

and for good tidings when I depart this life.

All praise be to Allah Whom I hope for supporting me in my life

and Whom I want to act as my Provision on the day of my neediness.

All praise be to Allah Whom alone do I beseech and I never beseech anyone rather than Him;

and even if I beseech anyone else, he will definitely let me down.

All praise be to Allah for Whom I hope and I never hope for anyone rather than Him;

and even if I hope for anyone else, he will definitely disappoint me.

All praise be to Allah, the All-benefactor, the All-donor,

the All-favorer, the All-liberal,

the Lord of Majesty and Honor,

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (8/15)

وَلِيُّ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ وَصَاحِبُ كُلِّ حَسَنَةٍ…

وَلِيُّ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ

وَصَاحِبُ كُلِّ حَسَنَةٍ

وَمُنْتَهَىٰ كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ

وَقَاضِي كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱرْزُقْنِي ٱلْيَقِينَ وَحُسْنَ ٱلظَّنِّ بِكَ

وَأَثْبِتْ رَجَاءَكَ فِي قَلْبِي

وَٱقْطَعْ رَجَائِي عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

حَتَّىٰ لاَ أَرْجُوَ غَيْرَكَ وَلاَ أَثِقَ إِلاَّ بِكَ

يَا لَطِيفاً لِمَا تَشَاءُ

أُلْطُفْ لِي فِي جَمِيعِ أَحْوَالِي بِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَىٰ

يَا رَبِّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّارِ فَلاَ تُعَذِّبْنِي بِٱلنَّارِ

Transliteration

waliyyu kulli ni'matin

wa sahibu kulli hasanatin

wa muntaha kulli raghbatin

wa qadi kulli hajatin

allahumma salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

warzuqni alyaqina wa husna alzzanni bika

wa athbit raja'aka fi qalbi

waqta' raja'i 'amman siwaka

hatta la arjwa ghayraka wa la athiqa illa bika

ya latifan lima tasha'u

ultuf li fi jami'i ahwali bima tuhibbu wa tarda

ya rabbi inni da'ifun 'ala alnnari fala tu'adhdhibni bilnnari

Translation

the Source of all bounties,

the Cause of all good deeds,

the Ultimate Goal of all desires,

and the Answerer of all needs.

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

and grant me conviction and having good idea about You,

fix my hope for You in my heart,

and deprive me of putting my hope in anyone other than You,

so that I shall hope for none but You and I shall trust none but You.

O He Who is Benignant to whom He pleases!

(Please do) have benignity to me in all my manners in the very way that You like and please.

O my Lord, I am too weak to encounter Your Fire; therefore, (please) do not punish me with Your Fire.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (9/15)

يَا رَبِّ ٱرْحَمْ دُعَائِي وَتَضَرُّعِي وَخَوْفِي…

يَا رَبِّ ٱرْحَمْ دُعَائِي وَتَضَرُّعِي

وَخَوْفِي وَذُلِّي وَمَسْكَنَتِي

وَتَعْوِيذِي وَتَلْوِيذِي

يَا رَبِّ إِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ عَنْ طَلَبِ ٱلدُّنْيَا

وَأَنْتَ وَاسِعٌ كَرِيمٌ

أَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ بِقُوَّتِكَ عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ

وَقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهِ

وَغِنَاكَ عَنْهُ

وَحَاجَتِي إِلَيْهِ

أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي فِي عَامِي هٰذَا

وَشَهْرِي هٰذَا

وَيَوْمِي هٰذَا

Transliteration

ya rabbi irham du'a'i wa tadarru'i

wa khawfi wa dhulli wa maskanati

wa ta'widhi wa talwidhi

ya rabbi inni da'ifun 'an talabi alddunya

wa anta wasi'un karimun

as'aluka ya rabbi biquwwatika 'ala dhalika

wa qudratika 'alayhi

wa ghinaka 'anhu

wa hajati ilayhi

an tarzuqani fi 'ami hadha

wa shahri hadha

wa yawmi hadha

✦

Translation

O my Lord, (please do) have mercy upon my prayers, my earnest imploring,

my fear, my humiliation, my neediness,

my seeking Your protection, and my seeking Your refuge.

O my Lord, I am too weak to seek earnings in this world

and You are Ample-giving and All-generous.

I beseech You, O my Lord, in the name of Your power over that,

Your supremacy over that,

Your dispensing with that,

and my urgent need for that

to grant me sustenance in this year,

in this month,

on this day,

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (10/15)

وَسَاعَتِي هٰذِهِ رِزْقاً تُغْنِينِي بِهِ عَنْ…

وَسَاعَتِي هٰذِهِ

رِزْقاً تُغْنِينِي بِهِ عَنْ تَكَلُّفِ مَا فِي أَيْدِي ٱلنَّاسِ

مِنْ رِزْقِكَ ٱلْحَلاَلِ ٱلطَّيِّبِ

أَيْ رَبِّ مِنْكَ أَطْلُبُ

وَإِلَيْكَ أَرْغَبُ

وَإِيَّاكَ أَرْجُو

وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ ذٰلِكَ

لاَ أَرْجُو غَيْرَكَ

وَلاَ أَثِقُ إِلاَّ بِكَ

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

أَيْ رَبِّ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي

فَٱغْفِرْ لِي وَٱرْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي

Transliteration

wa sa'ati hadhihi

rizqan tughnini bihi 'an takallufi ma fi aydi alnnasi

min rizqika alhalali alttayyibi

ay rabbi minka atlubu

wa ilayka arghabu

wa iyyaka arju

wa anta ahlu dhalika

la arju ghayraka

wa la athiqu illa bika

ya arhama alrrahimina

ay rabbi zalamtu nafsi

faghfir li warhamni wa 'afini

✦

Translation

at this hour—

sustenance by which You may make me dispense with what the others possess,

from Your sustenance, legal and nice.

O my Lord, from You do I ask,

for You do I desire,

and for You do I hope;

and You are the worthiest of being hoped.

I hope for none but You

and I trust in none but You.

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

O my Lord, I have wronged myself;

so, (please do) forgive me, have mercy upon me, and grant me good health.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (11/15)

يَا سَامِعَ كُلِّ صَوْتٍ وَيَا جَامِعَ…

يَا سَامِعَ كُلِّ صَوْتٍ

وَيَا جَامِعَ كُلِّ فَوْتٍ

وَيَا بَارِئَ ٱلنُّفُوسِ بَعْدَ ٱلْمَوْتِ

يَا مَنْ لاَ تَغْشَاهُ ٱلظُّلُمَاتُ

وَلاَ تَشْتَبِهُ عَلَيْهِ ٱلأَصْوَاتُ

وَلاَ يَشْغَلُهُ شَيْءٌ عَنْ شَيْءٍ

أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا سَأَلَكَ

وَأَفْضَلَ مَا سُئِلْتَ لَه

وَأَفْضَلَ مَا أَنْتَ مَسْؤُولٌ لَهُ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ

وَهَبْ لِيَ ٱلْعَافِيَةَ حَتَّىٰ تُهَنِّئَنِي ٱلْمَعِيشَةَ

وَٱخْتِمْ لِي بِخَيْرٍ حَتَّىٰ لاَ تَضُرَّنِي ٱلذُّنُوبُ

اَللَّهُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِمَا قَسَمْتَ لِي حَتَّىٰ لاَ أَسْأَلَ أَحَداً شَيْئاً

Transliteration

ya sami'a kulli sawtin

wa ya jami'a kulli fawtin

wa ya bari'a alnnufusi ba'da almawti

ya man la taghshahu alzzulumatu

wa la tashtabihu 'alayhi al-aswatu

wa la yashghaluhu shay'un 'an shay'in

a'ti muhammadan salla allahu 'alayhi wa alihi afdala ma sa'alaka

wa afdala ma su'ilta lahu

wa afdala ma anta mas'ulun lahu ila yawmi alqiyamati

wa hab liya al'afiyata hatta tuhanni'ani alma'ishata

wakhtim li bikhayrin hatta la tadurrani aldhdhunubu

allahumma raddini bima qasamta li hatta la as'ala ahadan shay'an

Translation

O Hearer of all sounds!

O He Who takes precedence over everything that passes away!

O Reviver of all souls after death!

O He Whom is not screened by murk!

O He Whom is not made confused by sounds!

O He Whom is not engaged by something against another thing!

(Please do) grant Muhammad—peace be upon him and his Household—the best of all that for which he has besought You,

the best of all that which has been asked from You for him,

and the best all that which You shall be asked for him up to the Resurrection Day;

and grant me good health so that I may enjoy my life,

an end up my life with a happy end so that my sins may not injure me.

O Allah, (please do) make me satisfied with that which You have decided for me so that I will not ask anyone else for anything.

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (12/15)

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ…

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَٱفْتَحْ لِي خَزَائِنَ رَحْمَتِكَ

وَٱرْحَمْنِي رَحْمَةً لاَ تُعَذِّبُنِي بَعْدَهَا أَبَداً فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ

وَٱرْزُقْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ ٱلْوَاسِعِ رِزْقاً حَلاَلاً طَيِّباً

لاَ تُفْقِرُنِي إِلَىٰ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَهُ سِوَاكَ

تَزِيدُنِي بِذٰلِكَ شُكْراً

وَإِلَيْكَ فَاقَةً وَفَقْراً

وَبِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ غِنَىٰ وَتَعَفُّفاً

يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ

يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ

يَا مَلِيكُ يَا مُقْتَدِرُ

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Transliteration

allahumma salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

waftah li khaza'ina rahmatika

warhamni rahmatan la tu'adhdhibuni ba'daha abadan fi alddunya wal-akhirati

warzuqni min fadlika alwasi'i rizqan halalan tayyiban

la tufqiruni ila ahadin ba'dahu siwaka

taziduni bidhalika shukran

wa ilayka faqatan wa faqran

wa bika 'amman siwaka ghinan wa ta'affufan

ya muhsinu ya mujmilu

ya mun'imu ya mufdilu

ya maliku ya muqtadiru

salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

✦

Translation

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

open to me the stores of Your mercy,

cover me with mercy from You owing to which You will not punish me neither in this world nor in the Hereafter,

grant me legal and pleasant sustenance from Your limitless favor

owing to which You will make me dispense with anyone other than You;

increasing my gratitude to You

and my neediness and submission before You,

and increasing my dispensing with and doing without everyone save You.

O All-benefactor! O All-donor!

O All-favorer! O All-liberal!

O All-omnipotent! O All-sovereign!

(Please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (13/15)

وَٱكْفِنِي ٱلْمُهِمَّ كُلَّهُ وَٱقْضِ لِي بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ…

وَٱكْفِنِي ٱلْمُهِمَّ كُلَّهُ

وَٱقْضِ لِي بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي جَمِيعِ أُمُورِي

وَٱقْضِ لِي جَمِيعَ حَوَائِجِي

اَللَّهُمَّ يَسِّرْ لِي مَا أَخَافُ تَعْسِيرَهُ

فَإِنَّ تَيْسِيرَ مَا أَخَافُ تَعْسِيرَهُ عَلَيْكَ سَهْلٌ يَسِيرٌ

وَسَهِّلْ لِي مَا أَخَافُ حُزُونَتَهُ

وَنَفِّسْ عَنِّي مَا أَخَافُ ضِيقَهُ

وَكُفَّ عَنِّي مَا أَخَافُ هَمَّهُ

وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي مَا أَخَافُ بَلِيَّتَهُ

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱمْلَأْ قَلْبِي حُبّاً لَكَ

Transliteration

wakfini almuhimma kullahu

waqdi li bilhusna

wa barik li fi jami'i umuri

waqdi li jami'a hawa'iji

allahumma yassir li ma akhafu ta'sirahu

fa'inna taysira ma akhafu ta'sirahu 'alayka sahlun yasirun

wa sahhil li ma akhafu huzunatahu

wa naffis 'anni ma akhafu diqahu

wa kuffa 'anni ma akhafu hammahu

wasrif 'anni ma akhafu baliyyatahu

ya arhama alrrahimina

allahumma imla' qalbi hubban laka

✦

Translation

and relieve me from all grievances,

decide the most excellent for me,

bless all my affairs,

and settle all my needs.

O Allah, (please do) make easy for me all that which I anticipate to be difficult,

for it is quite easy for You to make easy for me that which I anticipate to be difficult.

(Please do) facilitate for me that I anticipate to be complicated,

give vent to that which I anticipate to be narrow,

save me from that which I anticipate to cause me distress,

and guard me from that which I anticipate to cause me misfortune.

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

O Allah, (please do) fill in my heart with love for You,

Dua Ya Uddati - Dua-e-Sahar (14/15)

وَخَشْيَةً مِنْكَ وَتَصْدِيقاً لَكَ وَإِيـمَاناً بِكَ…

وَخَشْيَةً مِنْكَ

وَتَصْدِيقاً لَكَ

وَإِيـمَاناً بِكَ

وَفَرَقاً مِنْكَ

وَشَوْقاً إِلَيْكَ

يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ لَكَ حُقُوقاً فَتَصَدَّقْ بِهَا عَلَيَّ

وَلِلنَّاسِ قِبَلِي تَبِعَاتٌ فَتَحَمَّلْهَا عَنِّي

وَقَدْ أَوْجَبْتَ لِكُلِّ ضَيْفٍ قِرَىٰ

وَأَنَا ضَيْفُكَ فَٱجْعَلْ قِرَايَ ٱللَّيْلَةَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ

يَا وَهَّابَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ

يَا وَهَّابَ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ

Transliteration

wa khashyatan minka

wa tasdiqan laka

wa imanan bika

wa faraqan minka

wa shawqan ilayka

ya dha aljalali wal-ikrami

allahumma inna laka huquqan fatasaddaq biha 'alayya

wa lilnnasi qibali tabi'atun fatahammalha 'anni

wa qad awjabta likulli dayfin qiran

wa ana dayfuka faj'al qiraya allaylata aljannata

ya wahhaba aljannati

ya wahhaba almaghfirati

Translation

fear from You,

belief in You,

faith in You,

dread from You,

and eagerness to You.

O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

O Allah, I owe You some rights; so, (please do) consider them alms and excuse me from their liabilities.

I also owe people some responsibilities; so, (please do) release me from their charges.

You have instructed us to honor our guests,

and I am Your guest at this night; so, (please do) decide Paradise for me as honor at this night.

O Grantor of Paradise!

O Grantor of forgiveness!

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِكَ

Transliteration

wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa bika

✦

Translation

There is no power nor might save with You.
